Sis… I need you to hear me: your story is not stuck on the chapter that hurt you.
I know it feels like your past has a microphone sometimes. Like the mistakes, the losses, the heartbreak, the “I should’ve known better,” the “why did that happen to me,” keeps trying to be the loudest voice in the room. But God is not intimidated by your history. He’s not turned off by your pain. He’s not confused by your process.
He’s still writing.
And what’s powerful is this: God doesn’t just skip the hard parts, He redeems them. He takes the chapter you thought ended you and uses it to shape you. That season didn’t cancel you. It didn’t disqualify you. It didn’t make you less valuable. It made you wiser. It made you deeper. It made you more aware of what you need, what you won’t tolerate, and how much you actually deserve.
You’re not behind.
You’re not late.
You’re not forgotten.
Sometimes healing feels slow because God is building something stable. He’s not just trying to make you feel better, He’s rebuilding you with strength, boundaries, and confidence. And the woman you’re becoming? She’s about to be thankful you didn’t give up on the process.
So today, lift your head.
Your future still has joy in it.
Your future still has peace in it.
Your future still has surprises in it.
Your future still has God’s hand on it.
The pen is still in His hand… and the story gets better from here.

Prayer
God,
Thank You for not giving up on me even when I wanted to give up on myself. Today I surrender the parts of my story that still feel heavy, confusing, or unfinished. Heal the places where I’ve been stuck in regret, shame, or fear of the future.
Lord, remind me that my past doesn’t define me, You do. Help me trust You with the next chapter. Give me hope again. Give me vision again. Give me the strength to keep turning the page even when I don’t know what’s next.
I believe You are a Redeemer. I believe You are a Restorer. I believe You are still writing my story, and it will be good.
